more chemo caps

Here is a cap made with Noro silk garden. It is a simple roll brim hat. I love the colours that Silk garden comes in. What a great way to try some new expensive yarns. It only takes one ball of yarn.

Wait a minute, I thought this was supposed to be hats. This looks like some kind of animal. LOL

Chemo caps

Here is the first instalment of "Chemo Caps" for my sister. The off white one is from elann.com and the colourful one is a free pattern off the web.

While I was Away

I spent two weeks helping my sister recover from breast cancer surgery and while I was there I made this outfit for my daughter.

It is a cotton yarn from Knitpicks and is very soft. I got the pattern for the tank top from a magazine and created the shrug myself.

My daughter likes tank tops but gets sunburned easily so I thought this would be a good compromise.
