Barbara's Knee is Better!!

Well, Barbara's knee is finally better. She is done physio and has been told to carry on life as if normal. The only restrictions are "if it hurts, stop" and put ice on it if it swells. Her kneecap is back in place and her muscles are back to full strength. This is amazing since she dislocated the kneecap and tore ligaments only 6 weeks ago. Praise God for her fast healing.

Update on Barbara's knee

Hi,
Barbara spent two weeks in her cast but now it is off. On Tuesday we went to the specialist in Winnipeg and he took the cast off. Yea! She started physiotherapy on Wednesday. There is still some swelling so that is the first thing to deal with. She aslo has limited mobility. The therapist told her to stay off the knee for about 3 more weeks and then they will start on strengthening the muscles in her upper leg. The therapist said Barbara should be up and going by September. Barbara has several excersises to do a couple times a day and then ice every 2 hours.
She is pretty upset to be laid up for so long. All and any prayers are welcome.

Here is my 14 yr old daughter on the way home from the specialist. She needs the cast on for one week and then we go back for another assessment. 

My order finally arrived from Knitpicks. Took one and a half weeks. The green is Alpaca cloud for a shrug. The blue is Shimmer for a sweater for my Mom. The purple is for the mysterystolealong.
